Large fish trap set in the streams with their conical mouths facing upstream so that fish will be carried into them by the current (Capistrano-Baker, et.al., 1998: 116).

Fish-trap implement usually made of rattan-bamboo combination. The funnel-shaped trap is usually made of bamboo strips, sharpened and built inwards. The funnel shape will let the fish go inside the trap easily but the pointed inward prings will prevent them from escaping (Capistrano-Baker, et al., 1998).
