The aggawin is a work basket used for collecting fish, shells, and birds’ eggs and worn by women during rice cultivation. It is secured by a cord tied around the hips as it hangs from the lower back. It can also carry tobacco, matches, and a pipe. (Bacdayan, 1998, p. 38).
