A closely woven bamboo basket that is most often used for bringing cooked rice to the field for a mid-day meal. It is well reinforced with split rattan braid on the edges and usually has a small string or tie to secure it (Lane 1986, 81).

Food container of the Bontok traditionally used to store or carry food or as a lunch basket (Anderson, 2010).
