BATOK: TRADITIONAL TATTOOS OF THE CORDILLERA
An Exhibition of Photographs
Museo Kordilyera’s participation to the 3rd IBAGIW FESTIVAL is a temporary exhibition on vintage and contemporary photographs of batok (traditional tattoos) of the Philippine Cordillera. To celebrate this cultural heritage, the exhibit will also feature tattoo implements from the museum collection, as well as video documentaries on tattoos.
Exhibit opening will be on November 12, 2021 (Friday) at 10:00 AM. Health and safety protocols shall be observed. All guests are required to pass through the university triage.
An online exhibition will also be launched on the museum website on December 1, 2021 on our website.
