In support of deepening the engagement on Indigenous Peoples Rights in the Philippines, the public webinar series “IPRA @ 24: Charting developments in Philippine Indigenous Peoples Rights” will be held from October 27 to 29, 2021 via Zoom. This year, Indigenous Peoples Rights will be examined by panels focusing on the critical dimensions of languages, education, cultural rights, development, and gender.

This event is hosted by the College of Social Sciences through its Lecture Series Committee, in collaboration with the Cordillera Studies Center, Museo Kordilyera, and the UPB Kasarian as part of UP Baguio’s wider contribution to the IPRA’s 24th anniversary, and the University’s continuing pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4: Quality Education and 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
